Join AGC MA for our April Conversations With... program! 
We welcome Amy Prange, Senior Director of Development, WS Development  where she will share first-hand insight on Seaport Square, the largest mixed-use private development project currently underway in Boston comprising of 23 acres and 20 city blocks totaling 7.7 million square feet of development. 
 
WS Development has been involved since the inception of the project as the retail partner and in 2015 WS took on the balance of the remaining development rights as master developer. Amy will discuss the past, present and future of development in the Seaport. Discussion will include WS Development’s transition from retail partner to master developer and the planning process that re-envisioned the Seaport neighborhood, projects that are open and underway and their future plans.
 
Amy joined WS Development in 2016 to provide permitting support and project management on the Seaport Square Project in Boston as WS was embarking on re-imagining the Master Plan. Amy’s expertise includes team assembly, budgeting and scheduling, design management, permitting and construction oversight on a variety of urban development projects in the City of Boston.

Prior to joining WS, Amy provided project management and permitting services as part of Colliers International’s Development & Consulting Services group to the firm’s development clients. Amy worked on both new construction and historic rehabilitation projects for developers, institutions and nonprofit clients. Some of those projects include the Boston Public Market, Envoy Hotel Seaport, Godfrey Hotel, Marriott Residence Inn Seaport, New England Conservatory Student Life and Performance Center and the North Bennet Street School.

Before joining the Owner’s side, Amy was a project engineer at Nitsch Engineering, where she specialized in civil site design, regulatory support and construction administration for commercial and residential land development, stormwater management, water re-use, site sustainability, and utility projects. Amy is a licensed civil engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and studied civil engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
