Event Description:
The OSHA 30-Hour Construction course is an advanced safety training program designed for construction supervisors, foremen, superintendents, project managers, and workers with safety leadership responsibilities. This course provides an in-depth understanding of OSHA Construction standards (29 CFR 1926), with a strong emphasis on hazard recognition, avoidance, control, and prevention on construction worksites.

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) has engaged Pointman Safety Consulting to deliver this training and to hand-select qualified, experienced instructors to present course content. Each topic is taught by trainers with direct construction safety and field experience, ensuring practical, relevant instruction aligned with current industry best practices.

Participants will receive detailed instruction on employer and employee responsibilities under OSHA, as well as proven methods for maintaining safe and compliant jobsites. Core topics include fall protection, electrical safety, scaffolding, excavation and trenching, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, confined spaces in construction, crane and rigging awareness, and incident prevention.
