Although not technically having started her career in construction, Stephanie has already forged an impressive path. As a senior in CM at Wentworth, Stephanie has engaged in more outside organizations, internships and continued education programs than many will have in their entire careers.

Negotiation is a hot button topic among emerging professionals today. This YCPI /YDPDI session focused on negotiations between agencies and entities. We were joined by guest lecturers Mary Feeney, Esq. of Bowditch & Dewey LLP and David Hancock of CBT Architects. We opened with short presentations from Dave and Mary on negotiation “best practices” they’ve developed over the years. The second half of our session was a mock public meeting discussing the development of a 50-acre office park in the hypothetical town of Lopton. We divided into three stakeholder groups to pitch our cases, receive feedback, and engage in a “high stakes” negotiation.
